RN Registered Nurse Women's Services (OB/GYN) - Part Time Nights
Baptist Health - Central Alabama is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.
We are looking for a dedicated RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Women's Services (OB/GYN) unit during third shift nights. The RN will supervise nursing personnel, assess and plan patient care, collaborate with physicians and other clinicians, and perform care interventions. Additional duties may include those within the scope of a Registered Nurse.
- General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift.
- Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
- Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementation of patient care.
Education / Experience: Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
License/Certification: Active RN licensure required, BLS required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area assigned.

Working Conditions /
Physical Requirements:
Position requires sitting for 20% of the workday and mobility for 80%. Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching; frequent reaching, use of hands, repetitive action; occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds. Requires clear diction and hearing sensitivity for conversation. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Minimal noise levels. Exposure to computer work, risk of electrical shock, infectious disease, hazardous chemicals, and radiation.
