• Hold a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Alabama.
• Maintain current CPR Certification.
• Take temperatures and isolate students and staff who become ill.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing services to support student academic achievement.
• Promote a healthy and safe school environment.
• Provide health and safety education to foster healthy lifestyles.
• Administer direct services as prescribed by a physician.
• Accurately document all nursing activities within established guidelines.
• Perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, twisting, turning, and reaching regularly.
• Exhibit adequate strength, dexterity, and agility to perform all assigned tasks.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Current license as an LPN or RN in Alabama.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to take temperatures and manage student and staff health issues.
• Ability to provide comprehensive nursing care and promote health education.
• Physical capability to perform necessary tasks.

• LPN: $40.00 per hour
• RN: $50.00 per hour

• ESSER Funds designated for summer learning camp.
