Production Coordinator

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee daily production operations, ensuring environmental, safety, quality, budget, and production targets are met. This role requires strong leadership, coordination with multiple departments, and optimization of plant performance.

• Coordinate activities of all production systems including raw mill, kiln, cooler, clinker silo, finish mill, and cement shipments
• Manage raw materials and fuel receiving, inventory control, and cement shipping (truck, rail, barge)
• Collaborate daily with other departments to coordinate plant efforts and troubleshoot operational issues
• Work with Maintenance Coordinator to plan and schedule minor and major outages
• Evaluate performance of direct reports and develop improvement plans
• Collaborate with Store and Purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels for production supplies
• Ensure production teams are trained in safety equipment and procedures; develop safety and emergency procedures
• Report and investigate accidents, generate production and reliability data
• Assist Production Manager in developing equipment checklists, inspections, and standard operating procedures
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in industrial production environment
• Leadership capabilities and ability to manage multiple teams
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including standing, walking, lifting up to 90 lbs, exposure to high places, mechanical equipment, confined spaces, noise, and weather extremes
• Adherence to PPE and safety protocols, including respirator use if required
