Summary

The PIO Team Lead will oversee PIO installations and processes and troubleshoot installation problems. Lead PIO employees and staff to timely and accurate task completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to PIO team members
  • Ensure the PIO installation procedures and processes are followed
  • Correct parts issues and any other obstacles to production
  • Certified in all accessory installations
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair installation issues
  • Ensure all team members documentation requirements are met
  • Ensure all team members understand the requirement to follow the customer's installation instruction sheets
  • Ensure all team members can read and understand customer quality requirements
• Ensure all team member installations meet or exceed quality specifications
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure installations are accurately and effectively installed
  • Oversee the tool control program for PIO shift and ensure accountability and accuracy of required tools and materials.
  • Continuously improve accessory installation processes and recommend adjustments
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and write Required
• Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length Required
• Must have demonstrated mechanical abilities Required
• Have general knowledge of automobile components Required
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, drills, wrenches, etc. Required

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
• Must hold a valid Driver's License Required
• Experience with hand tools Preferred

Working and Environmental Conditions

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting at Montgomery, AL

• Ability to drive up a small ramp
• Operating hydraulic lift for installs
• Operating Computers and Copiers/Fax Machine
• Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Exposure to gasoline/fumes
• The position is based in a plant manufacturing/warehousing environment.
• Communication with employees and field partners will be primarily conducted via phone and email.
