Alabama State University, Facilities Management and Operations, invites applications for the position of Custodial Services Liaison. The successful applicant will monitor and evaluate contractors engaged to facilitate the interior cleaning of university buildings to ensure they are maintained in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. This position will also manage a number of university custodial employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Monitor all services provided by Custodial Services contract

* Track service provider's daily fill rate as outlined in contract

* Review all Custodial Services employees records

* Complete monthly Quality Assurance Evaluations on all buildings

* Coordinate with the Operations Assistant in requisitioning of supplies as needed

* Verify and resolve all complaints regarding building cleanliness

* Schedule all additional cleaning support needed through service provider

* Order, distribute, and track custodial supplies and consumables

* Ensure tailgate area is kept clean an in order to include distribution of trash receptacles and bags

* Keep an inventory of all cooling fans, eaters, and other equipment sed to support Facilities Management and Operations

* Interact with building staff to obtain feedback on custodial services and special needs, troubleshoot potential problems and concerns

* Serve as backup for the mail service department as needed

* Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma, 5 years of relevant custodial services experience to include supervisory duties, and a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record are required.
