The HVAC Service Technician performs maintenance and detailed troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment including but not limited to packaged rooftop units, large split systems, VRF systems, cooling towers, air‑cooled chillers, variable frequency drives, pumps and motors. The role requires a basic understanding of Building Automation Systems and familiarity with VRF service software from manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, Sanyo, Toshiba, and Fujitsu.

Travel between Huntsville and Birmingham may be necessary during peak seasons.

• Able to perform maintenance and detailed troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment including but not limited to:
  Packaged RTU’s, large split systems, VRF systems, cooling towers, air cooled chillers, Variable Frequency Drives, pumps & motors.
• Basic understanding, operation, and navigation of common Building Automation Systems (e.g., Trane, Honeywell, JCI).
• Familiar with different manufacturer’s service software for VRF systems (e.g., Mitsubishi, Daikin, Sanyo, Toshiba, Fujitsu).
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited guidance from management.
• Fill out service tickets and time sheets electronically (iPad) and send via email.
• Travel may be necessary during peak seasons between Huntsville and Birmingham.
