Systems Administrator III; Solarwinds

INODE is a leading information technology (IT) professional services Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, business intelligence, and data science services for federal, state and local organizations. We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team as a Solar Winds System Administrator III who will lead the planning, deployment, and management of complex Solar Winds environments.

This is a salaried position, full-time, onsite at the Maxwell Air Force Base Gunter Annex.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
• Active IAT Level II or higher certification
• Available to work onsite Monday-Friday standard day hours
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze overall health and effectiveness of four Solar Winds Orion Platform Suit instance
• Install, configure, and administer Solar Winds
• Install and patch Windows based operating systems, applications, and document DISA STIGs checklists
• Expert level experience with creating/implementing customized dashboards, reports, notifications and automated responses
• Ability to create network designs diagrams with Microsoft Visio
• Strong expertise in Solar Winds, enterprise network monitoring tools and/or Net Flow analysis for either commercial and DoD (preferred) environments
• Ability to assess current Solar Winds implementations for each network and recommend changes
• Ability to work with SQL, SWQL, SNMP, WMI and SSH tool sets
• Expert level experience with creating/implementing customized dashboards, reports, notifications and automated responses
• Develop and maintain Solar Winds Disaster Recovery plan(s)
• Provide monthly status reports
• Superb Cable management skills
• Perform duties onsite for a standard 8hr day shift Monday
  - Friday

• High School Diploma or GED
• 7+ years of experience in systems administration
• 5+ years of working experience in Solar Winds administration
• One of the following certifications:
  • SCP‑SAM Server & Application Monitor (SAM)
  • SCP‑NCM Network Configuration Manager (NCM)
  • SCP‑NPM Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or equivalent
• Experience networking within the government necessary
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions, Veritas Net Backup preferred
• High attention to detail
• Superb documentation skills
• Self-motivated to continuously grow skillset and stay at the frontier of technology evolution
• DoD experience preferred
