eNGINE is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to join our client’s team in Houston, PA. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data solutions that empower business users with actionable insights.
This is a hybrid position, with an on-site presence expected 3 days/week.
What You’ll Do:- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server and SSIS to ensure data availability and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into BI solutions
- Provide hands-on support for our enterprise data warehouse and related reporting tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and reporting environments
- Assist with designing data architecture and documentation of systems including flow diagrams and technical guides
- Actively participate in tool upgrades, solution testing, and ongoing process improvement
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to support evolving business intelligence needs
- Contribute to the BI roadmap and help drive data transformation initiatives
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ETL development (tables, stored procedures, SSIS packages, job scheduling)
- Availability to monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs during non-business hours as needed
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of SDLC principles and change management best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Curiosity to understand industry-specific business operations, particularly in the builder supply or construction space
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops
, Visual Studio
, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) - Previous work in an industry with field teams or distributed users
