Overview
IT Head of Department-Sr. Manager (BSA-1, Montgomery, AL)
Responsibilities- Manage/control all IT operation/Project (Infra/MES/ERP/Etc.) and Budget (Investment/Cost). Implement IT governance (Infra/Security/MES/ERP) based on HQ/HKMC Group IT policy with IT team members who are responsible for each IT sections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze IT-related issue and enhance process (Infra/MES/ERP).
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Conduct regular assessments of IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. - Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Create detailed project plans, allocate resources, set milestones, and develop communication. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Resource Management:
Manage the IT budget, including forecasting and tracking expenditures. Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful completion of projects. Coordinate with various departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions. - Compliance And Standards:
Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulations. Conduct audits of implemented technology to ascertain performance and adherence to standards. - Communication And
Collaboration:
Serve as the liaison between the IT department and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication. Prepare and present reports on IT project status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management. - Innovation And Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT to recommend and implement innovative solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and operational effectiveness. - Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to IT projects and operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure data security and integrity through the implementation of robust IT security measures. - Supervisory Responsibilities:
Yes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent experience
- Over 10 years or more of experience in IT
- Experience and knowledge in IT infrastructure (especially IT security)
- At least over 9 years experience in specific section (ERP or MES, especially ERP)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills, people-management, leadership and communication skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
- Collaborating and communicating skills with other departments
