This position is responsible for working in the patient meal assembly area, washing patient and cafeteria dishes, removing garbage from the department, sweeping and mopping the kitchen area. It also requires picking up dirty patient trays from nursing floors and working with others within the Food and Nutrition Services department to provide outstanding quality food and service to patients. The role involves assisting with stocking food and condiments for patient area, using various cleaning supplies, and operating a dish machine.
Work ranges from medium to heavy demand. All tasks require walking and standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and pushing. Normal vision is required. The work is performed in an area that can be hot and humid. The position may require rotating to other shifts as needed.
Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions.
