SummaryThe Supervisor, Patient Access shall be responsible to oversee the reception and registration operations at their respective facility. The Supervisor will assist the leader to work with the service line personnel, office staff, manager, and senior management to promote accurate and efficient registration services. Additionally, the Supervisor is expected to assist leader in efforts to motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, and to meet the organizational and departmental goals for Customer Service and financial performance.
The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing level, selection, and training of staff, providing assistance with patient issues, and maintaining patient flow within the Registration area. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education / Experience
:
High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in medical registration or collections experience. Supervisor experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a customer service background preferred.

:
- Basic Computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), including speaking to large groups
Position requires sitting and mobility with occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action. Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Busy environment with many interruptions and distractions.
Multiple tasks must be performed simultaneously. Inside work with minimal exposure to outside elements. Much exposure to computer work.
