OverviewThe Patient Services, Team Lead shall be responsible to oversee the overall activities of the Patient Access department. This individual shall provide training and in-service education to employees. The Team Lead will coordinate with either the clinic leadership or Patient Access leadership to maintain appropriate staffing to ensure no interruption in workflow. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

- Coordinate with clinic leadership or Patient Access leadership to maintain appropriate staffing and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
- Education / Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a hospital or medical practice patient access related role required. Experience in health information management, registration, collections, or scheduling preferred. - License / Certification:
None - Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
Strong computer skills with experience utilizing MS Office programs, EMR, and other relevant computer systems; strong team leadership, organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills; ability to interact with patients and guests to promote a positive experience; must meet strict deadlines; strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills; ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to remain calm in difficult situations;
strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance; ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions; ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
