Overview
Progressive Health, LLC – Montgomery, AL. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven PRN Paramedic to join our Emergency Response Team (ERT). Help us provide onsite support at a local automotive manufacturer in Montgomery, AL. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!
Responsibilities- Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
- Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol
- Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients
- Respond to fire alarms and take appropriate actions
- Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
- Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use
- Inspect and complete audits on all equipment and systems
- Assist medical clinic staff with patient care as requested
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- Ability to stand or sit throughout the shift, walk for extended periods, and climb several flights of stairs
- Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs at least 100 feet
- High degree of professionalism in written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).
