Overview
FT with call rotation - Vascular Lab working with Vascular Surgeons.
Responsibilities- Responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment. Utilizes sterile technique and maintains operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system.
- Provides direct patient care to patients 18 years of age, or older.
- Maintains appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system.
- Will be required to assist the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the role of monitor, scrub and circulate.
- Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS required.
- Graduation from accredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of special procedures or cath lab experience required.
- IR Vascular experience preferred.
