Certified Medical Assistant

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

* Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

* Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests.

* Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health documentation.

* Prepare and administer medications as directed by physicians.

* Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive healthcare measures.

* Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.

* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

* Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.

* Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is required.

* Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

* Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

* Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.

* Current CPR certification is a plus.
