SummaryBluberi gaming is seeking a Field Services Technician to serve Bluberi gaming equipment as part of our professional Field Service team.
Essential Functions Customer Communications- Deliver the highest level of customer experience through effective communications and professional service interactions with Bluberi customers.
- Maintain contact with the customer on a regular basis while performing work on their machines, including follow‑up after work is completed.
- Install, set up, maintain and reconfigure gaming products.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment up to the failing replaceable unit (FRU) and restore service in the field.
- Order replacement parts and supplies, manage disposals, and handle part shipping.
- Perform periodic preventative maintenance to promote continuous operation of Bluberi equipment.
- Maintain required daily paperwork:
Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports, and post‑installation documentation. - Transport, install, and maintain Bluberi gaming equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized manner.
- Manage the remote warehouse of repair components and support inventory processes.
- Drive frequently between job sites, often with overnight stays.
- Conduct floor walk‑throughs at customer locations to ensure games are fully functional and properly configured.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Respond to dispatches and drive to customer locations for repairs.
- Coordinate with scheduling to understand upcoming installations, conversions, removals, and preventive maintenance.
- Communicate with Bluberi scheduling and dispatch, reporting service activity and resolution details.
- Work closely with Product Management and Sales to provide field feedback.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Field Service organization.
- Cordial interaction with coworkers and customers.
- Basic problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to climb, lift, and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Sit and drive for prolonged periods.
- Dexterity with hand tools: screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, drills, multimeters, etc.
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions and technical manuals.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL obtainable if necessary.
- Basic English written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Technical or IT related training or education is a plus.
- 4+ years in electronics, repair, field, or related industry; gaming‑related certification preferred.
- Familiarity with the casino gaming industry.
- Knowledge of Python and/or R for advanced data analysis.
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for presenting findings.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Obtain tribal and/or state gaming regulator licensing approval.
- Deliver basic customer training on servicing Bluberi equipment.
- Attend driver training and follow Bluberi vehicle policy.
- Participate in continual training events.
- Work at heights, in close quarters, and exposure to weather.
- Secondhand smoke exposure may occur.
- Manual dexterity and handling small components.
- Lifting and carrying heavy equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Fine motor skills and visual acuity for repairs.
- Hearing within normal limits.
