Position Summary

The Program Lead will manage a large team of instructors and staff in support of the Air Force Culture and Language Center’s (AFCLC) Language Enabled Airmen Program (LEAP) eMentor Course Delivery and Management contract. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) training via a synchronous virtual school platform.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture (LREC) training delivered through the LEAP eMentor program.
  • Oversee and supervise a large team composed of language instructors and other program staff.
  • Manage an instructor roster and keep up to date with instructor information, including instructor title, name, education, experience, eMentor certification date, personal email contact information, and other details as required.
  • Ensure eMentors are developed in the areas of language proficiency, instructional methodology, educational technology, assessment design, and effective language learning strategies.
  • Work and communicate with Government POCs.
  • Work and communicate with the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) platform technical lead to ensure successful delivery of remote, virtual training.
  • Ensure all required information (e.g., weekly reports) is sent to the Government in accordance with specified deadlines.
  • Develop monthly status reports for submission within ten business days after the end of each month.
  • Track hours and availability of funds during the contract period of performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Skill Required
  • Must have a minimum of three years’ experience managing a foreign language distance learning program, including oversight of:
    • Recruitment, development, and scheduling of a cadre of foreign language instructors across ten or more languages.
    • Staff and student use of online, synchronous learning management systems.
    • Experience in foreign language instruction is highly desired.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired.
Physical And Environmental Requirements
  • May be required to use computer screen for extensive periods of time.
  • Extended working hours and travel may be necessary.
