Overview
Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking a Seasonal Human Resource Assistant to join its team.
Seneca Foods is one of North America's leading providers of packaged fruits and vegetables with facilities located throughout the United States. Our high quality products are primarily sourced from over 1,400 American farms. Seneca holds the largest share of the retail private label, food service, and export canned vegetable markets, distributing to over 90 countries. Products are also sold under the brands of Libby’s®, Aunt Nellie’s®, READ®, Seneca Farms®, Green Valley®, Green Giant (Shelf-Stable)®, Cherry Man®, Paradise®, Pennant®, and Seneca labels, including Seneca snack chips.
Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.
Assists the Human Resource Manager with administrative duties including (but not limited to) staffing, training documents and logs; internal and external correspondence; FMLA administration and recordkeeping; and filing / documentation.
Responsibilities- Assists with Seasonal Staffing support including but not limited to data entry, filing, orientations, reporting, training and employee investigations
- Provides back-up support for the Human Resource Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
- Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- HR or related education/experience preferred
Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $15.45 to $18.00 per hour.
