The Campus Services Unit is hiring Student Assistants to work in various departments within the unit. These include:

  • Mailroom
  • AUM Bookstore
  • AUM Cafe (Dining Services)
  • Conference Services
  • Groundskeeping
  • AUM Wellness Center
  • Transportation
  • AUM Facilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide applicable services to students, faculty, staff and the AUM Community.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of a campus services department or office, including clerical, physical and technical tasks.
  • Work alongside other campus services team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Greet visitors to the department or office, answer telephone calls and electronic communication, and other reception tasks.
  • Ensure all departmental policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain scheduled hours.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Depending on the campus services department assignment, work outside of AUM business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, M-F), including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications:
  • Customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software applications.
  • Specialized knowledge associated with campus services departmental assignment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to represent the campus services unit with professionalism.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment and tools related to departmental operations.
  • May require specialized physical abilities related to departmental operations.
