Alabama State University, Office of Record and Registration, invites applications to fill the Academic Certification Clerk position. This position will provide accurate verifications regarding student' academic records in accordance with customer requests and University policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete degree and enrollment verifications
- Process transient forms and post transfer credits
- Process loan deferment forms
- Complete verification for Greek organizations, Student Government, Miss ASU and Court and other internal organizations
- Complete inquiries from the FBI and other law enforcement and governmental agencies pertaining to student academic records
- Process Schedule Change Forms, Overload and Override Forms
- Assist in preparation for graduation to include assisting with graduation applications
- Assis in maintenance of academic calendar and the academic catalog
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, basic computer skills (Microsoft, Excel, Word Doc), excellent customer service and communications skills are required.
