Receives, verifies and inputs all invoices presented for payment.
High School Degree or equivalent; some bookkeeping/accounting training after high school preferred.
1-2 years previous experience in Accounts Payable.
None
Calculator, computer and related software,copier, telephone and fax.
Skills:
Proficiency with PC's, data entry, spreadsheet software. Excellent mathematical and bookkeeping skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
Normal office requirements, including the handling of various office reports, notebooks, files or file folders and payment checks on a routine basis. Occasional use of year-to-date/cumulative type reports requiring lifting of approximately 15-20 pounds. Manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary for filing and proofing documents; ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; verbal communications and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of customers.
Ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job.
