Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full-time DISHWASHER position.

Location:

Univ of Montevallo, 75 College Drive, Montevallo, AL 35115. Online applications accepted.

Full-time schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Fixed Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour.

• No experience is necessary. Willing to train!

• Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or use dishes in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Wash pots, pans and trays according to procedures; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using appropriate methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain safety procedures and comply with safety guidelines.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and dispose of it properly; clean garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Help load and unload supplies and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
