Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Monterey is a family-owned and locally operated plumbing company with over 30 years of trusted service in the community. We pride ourselves on professionalism, honesty, and exceptional customer service. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a driven and personable Sales Manager / Field Sales Representative to help us continue building strong relationships and growing our business.

This position blends leadership, customer service, and sales. You’ll work closely with our technicians and management team to ensure every opportunity is maximized — from following up on open estimates to closing larger jobs and expanding our network through relationship-based sales.

Follow up on open estimates and work to close sales with homeowners and commercial clients.

Act as a “second opinion” to help technicians upsell jobs or confirm recommendations to customers.

Develop and maintain relationships with realtors, property managers, and commercial accounts to generate repeat business.

Support field technicians by assisting with estimates, customer communication, and job coordination.

Proactively seek new business opportunities through networking, community events, and outreach.

Maintain CRM and follow-up systems to track leads, opportunities, and customer touchpoints.

Report performance metrics and contribute to team sales meetings and strategy sessions.

Proven sales experience (service industry or construction/plumbing experience preferred).

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.

Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
