Universal Health Net is a locally owned hospice and palliative care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to patients and families throughout the Central Coast. Our organization is owned and led by a hospice nurse with decades of hands‑on experience, and our team is known for being accessible, supportive, and deeply patient‑centered.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team.
New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.

As a Registered Nurse with Universal Health Net, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality hospice and palliative care in patients’ homes and care facilities. This position involves regular travel within Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties
. Our office is located in Monterey.

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice and palliative care patients
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Manage symptoms, medications, and comfort-focused interventions
• Educate patients and families on disease progression and care options
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers
• Document care accurately and timely according to regulations and agency standards
• Participate in on-call rotation as assigned

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• New graduates welcome; hospice or home health experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between counties
