Marketing & Development Associate to help share our story, support fundraising efforts, and grow community engagement in support of land conservation in Monterey County. This role supports marketing, communications, donor engagement, and fundraising activities by creating compelling content, supporting campaigns and events, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across channels.

What You’ll Do
  • Create and coordinate marketing and fundraising content across print, digital, email, and social media platforms
  • Support fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and stewardship efforts
  • Help manage social media, website updates, and engagement tracking
  • Coordinate logistics for donor and community events
  • Support media relations, press releases, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with donor database management and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external creative partners to ensure brand consistency
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or development
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365;
    Salesforce for Nonprofits experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Passion for land conservation and community-centered work
  • Hourly Rate: $31–$35, depending on experience
