Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $6,622 - $6,890 mo. CSUMB provides pay scales representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, and CSU systemwide pay for comparable jobs.

Purpose

Under the general direction of the Associate Registrar, the Records and Registration Analyst provides functional support for the Student Information System (Oracle People Soft Campus Solutions) and Registrar related business-related applications. The incumbent performs business systems analysis, testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure data integrity and compliance with university, CSU, and state regulations. This position works closely with Registrar staff, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Information Technology, and the CSU Chancellor’s Office to evaluate processes, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.

The Records and Registration Analyst applies established business analysis methods and judgment to moderately complex system and data challenges. The role requires strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to support Registrar operations and to contribute to projects that enhance student services and institutional effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities System Support and Maintenance

Provide functional support for the SIS (Oracle People Soft Campus Solutions) and other Registrar applications (e.g., imaging systems, reporting tools, CRM). Assist with testing, implementation, and upgrades to ensure accurate functionality and compliance. Troubleshoot functional issues, elevate as needed, and provide end‑user guidance. Perform processes for start of term, end of term, and to support daily operations.
