Responsibilities- Ensure rooms, suites, and other hotel areas are fresh, welcoming, and meet established standards.
- Assist guests with requests such as providing a toothbrush or directions.
- Update supervisors on room service progress and alert them to any required repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
- Maintain organized supplies and amenities, minimize waste, and monitor inventory.
- Reunite lost and found items with owners and log all lost and found property; report and log items per established procedures.
- Maintain proper uniform appearance and conduct.
- Assist with unexpected tasks, deep‑cleaning projects, turndown duties, and other duties as assigned.
- Reliable, physically fit with ability to stand most of the day and lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
Can bend and kneel as required. - Strong literacy skills – reading, writing, and basic math.
Ability to communicate with department colleagues and comply with hotel procedures. - Flexible schedule: open to varying shifts – weekdays, weekends, evenings, public holidays – in a 7‑day cycle.
- Experience in housekeeping or related hospitality services is a plus.
Competitive hourly rate: $20.40 – $22.53 (may vary by location).
