Senior Radiologic Technologist, CF (Specialist) – Correctional Training Facility (CTF)
Effective July 1, 2025, this position is located at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, CA, Monterey County.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and the California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) provide a pay range based on skills and experience. The base pay has been adjusted to reflect the Personal Leave Program 2025, which reduces base salary by 3% and provides 5 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
Job Description and DutiesAs a Senior Radiologic Technologist, you will perform the full range of duties for a solitary civil‑service radiologic technologist in a state correctional facility. You may also instruct or lead other technologists and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic radiographic examinations and procedures.
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and overseeing storage and dispensing.
- Maintaining and updating procedure manuals.
- Coordinating maintenance services on imaging equipment.
- Assisting in the preparation of the radiologic department’s annual budget.
All duties are carried out under the direction of the chief of the medical facility.
Minimum Qualifications- Current, valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the California State Department of Health Services.
- One of the following experience requirements.
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a correctional facility.
- Three years of experience, including training under an accredited medical radiologist.
- One year of experience and completion of a two‑year training program approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the AMA and the American College of Radiology.
