Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Monterey, CA 93940
Pay Rate: $57.38/hr
Schedule: 13 week contract / days
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join a respected healthcare facility in Monterey, CA. This role focuses on evaluating, planning, and delivering high-quality physical therapy services to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate, compliant records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery expectations
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and patient-centered care environment
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or equivalent)
- Previous clinical experience in rehab, outpatient, acute, or SNF settings preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
