Job Description:

MOSM Ryan Ranch: Physical Therapist

Pay Rate
: $48.00 - $57.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Under the leadership of the Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals referred to the medical group.
  • Collaborate with referring providers to assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain clinical excellence and community engagement through outreach and partnerships with local healthcare providers.
  • Evaluate referrals and patient records, conduct assessments, and document progress in accordance with clinical best practices.
  • Administer appropriate treatments, supervise support staff including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and ensure timely and accurate documentation and billing.
  • Contribute to the development of the rehabilitation program, stay current with professional education, and foster strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and external providers.
  • Uphold safety standards, maintain confidentiality, and reflect the organization’s values in all professional interactions.
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
  • Computer literate with prior experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong telephone communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, efficient filing systems, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, handle emergency situations, and meet deadlines; strong reading and writing skills for correspondence, treatment plans, and billing codes.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to follow straightforward written or verbal instructions while applying sound reasoning in routine clinical and administrative situations.
Education

Graduate of accredited physical therapy school.

Licenses/Certifications
  • CA State Board of Physical Therapy licensure or has applied for CA state licensure.
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • ATC, CSCS, SCS, and OCS or like certifications are preferred, but not required.
Assigned Work Hours

4 shifts per work week, 10 hour shifts
