Primary Mission

As a Restaurant Server & Pool associate you will provide high‑quality service to guests in a courteous and efficient manner while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout your shift.

Responsibilities
  • Walk and stand during the entire shift, serving guests attentively, friendly, and professionally.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables; perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring the restaurant area and hallways remain free of debris and trays returned to the kitchen.
  • Know restaurant layout, job functions, menus, and specials; maintain knowledge of each position.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side‑work duties per station rotation to keep tables and stands stocked.
  • Follow all state liquor laws.
  • Carry coffee pots and beverages; refill cups and glasses as needed.
  • Greet and serve guests following company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly, evaluate alternatives, and select actions quickly.
  • Work well under stress, maintaining composure and objectivity.
  • Listen, understand, and clarify guest and associate concerns.
  • Handle cash, perform mathematical calculations, and use POS/Micros for check‑closing.
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, grooming, uniform, and name tag.
  • Keep regular attendance per scheduling requirements.
  • Coordinate with Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Supervisor; perform additional duties requested by management.
Qualifications
  • Experience
    • 1+ year of restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
  • IT Expertise
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web analytics tools preferred.
  • Education
    • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Subject Expertise
    • Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.
    • Report unusual occurrences to Supervisor.
    • Read and abide by Associate Handbook regulations.
    • Service‑oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills.
    • Effective communication in English.
    • Energetic, outgoing, and team‑player.
    • Organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Basic financial and arithmetic skills; 45 wpm typing.
    • Confidentiality and discretion.
Other Expectations
  • Abide by payroll policies and conduct rules per the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of company safety and security procedures.
  • Travel required as needed for hotel familiarization, content creation, and collaboration.
  • Work hours:

    Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm (PST); weekend or holiday work may occasionally be required.
