Technician - Pharmacy PD

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, participates in the processing of patient medication orders to facilitate the prompt and accurate delivery of medications to patients. The Pharmacy Technician has primary responsibility in drug distribution, maintaining appropriate patient records and charges, purchasing, and inventory control.

• Process patient medication orders and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication charges.
• Purchase medication supplies and manage inventory control.

• Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
• Current BCLS Card (AHA) and maintain.
