Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented On-Site Biller to manage and oversee the full revenue cycle process in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and effective coordination with clinical and administrative teams.
Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM) process, including claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable, and denial/rejection management.
- Review and interpret ERAs and EOBs to ensure accurate posting and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with E/M coding guidelines and payer requirements.
- Monitor insurance reimbursements, with a strong focus on Medicare, HMO, and PPO plans.
- Frequently interface with Chinese-speaking patients regarding billing and insurance matters.
- Work closely with clinical and front office teams to resolve billing and coding issues.
- Generate and analyze billing reports, spreadsheets, and performance metrics.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve billing efficiency.
- Lead, support, and collaborate with billing staff as needed.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full RCM and billing cycle.
- Strong understanding of E/M coding guidelines, ERAs, and EOBs.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance reimbursement policies (Medicare focus preferred).
- Proficient in EHR systems.
- Highly preferred: experience in a primary care setting.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong analytical skills, including developing spreadsheets and evaluating billing data.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English
