Our Millwork Estimator is responsible for completing accurate and thorough takeoffs and proposals in Commercial and Residential construction.
Responsibilities- Review and understand architectural drawings.
- After determining scope of work, complete accurate and detailed takeoffs using Microsoft Excel.
- Organize all information necessary for the bidding process, including specifications, plans, and a list of the products to be bid, and distribute info to appropriate vendors for bidding quotations.
- Follow up with contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
- Experience estimating Commercial and Residential construction.
- Thorough knowledge of millwork, veneer and cabinet related materials and their corresponding hardware.
- Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets.
- Qualified candidate will be capable of working in a fast‑paced environment responding to deadlines for quotes and assisting Project Managers throughout the bidding process.
