Overview
We are looking to hire a full/part time Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to perform both Front Office and Back Office duties with a focus on front office duties. Must be comfortable working with computers and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Front office duties include verifying insurance authorization, insurance eligibility, and checking in patients.
- Back office duties may include basic lab tests, vital signs, H&P entry, phlebotomy, and assisting the doctor in patient care.
- We are looking for a student who is eager to learn, works well with others, and is a fast learner.
- No experience required, candidate will be cross-trained to perform all duties
- Experience with insurance authorization/processing EOB highly preferred
- Typing speed at least 45 wpm. Please include typing speed in resume.
- Experience with Windows/PC
- Must have a good attitude and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time (7:30 - 4 pm M-F), Part time ( Morning hours from 7:30 am - 12 /1pm M-F)
Salary:
Starting at $16.5
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $21.00 per hour
