Role Description
This is a temporary on‑site role based in Boucherville, QC, for a Field Network Deployment Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure, providing technical support to address issues, troubleshooting network‑related problems, and ensuring seamless integration of systems. You will work with operating systems and networking equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability during deployment and post‑implementation.

Mandatory

Skills:

Structured cabling installation and termination

Cable testing using Fluke or equivalent

Understanding of PoE budgets and switch ports

Basic IP networking (VLAN, DHCP, gateway, subnet)

Comfortable working at heights and using lifts

Ability to travel to Canada project sites

What You Will Actually Do

Verify mounting points, cable pathways, rack space, switch PoE capacity

Install and mount wireless access points (high ceiling environments up to 10m)

Run and terminate  Cat6A plenum cabling

Label, test and certify cable runs

Configure and bring up APs (controller adoption / basic provisioning)

Support migration from old network to new network with minimal downtime

Work with lifts, ladders and warehouse/industrial environments

Document completed installations (photos + port mapping)
