Joining us as a Product Improvement Specialist – Electronics with us means putting your passion for optimization and continuous improvement to work to enhance our electronic products.
As a Product Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving products throughout their lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in maximizing their profitability and quality, ensuring their longevity, performance, and continuity of production.
On a Daily Basis, You Will
Manage the product lifecycle:
Ensure product compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
Document technical support processes and best practices;
Oversee change management activities;
Participate in end-of-life product planning.
Troubleshoot technical issues:
Identify and resolve issues reported by production teams, customers, or through analysis;
Collaborate with development and production teams to solve complex problems;
Contribute to anomaly analyses internally, at the plant, or at customer sites when required.
Plan and participate in continuous improvement initiatives:
Develop and maintain technical support plans for existing products;
Analyze product performance data to identify improvement opportunities;
Work closely with the assembly plant to monitor and maintain PFMEA analyses.
You’re the person we’re looking for if you have:
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or a related field);
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar electronic-focused role;
Relevant experience in technical support, continuous improvement, or electronic product management;
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Jira is an asset);
A high level of rigor, analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills;
Bilingualism in French and English – functional English required to communicate with suppliers.
