Location: Boucherville

Job Purpose

As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Planner
, your role will be to plan all the tests required in the Boucherville laboratory and to be the link between the V&V department and the product development team. You will also be responsible for planning, deploying, and following up on tests performed in external laboratories. You will ensure that tests run smoothly while optimizing the use of the laboratory's various resources.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan functional and non-functional testing activities to meet client needs.

  • Establish and maintain the allocation of testing resources required for projects (planned vs. actual).

  • Implement and optimize the laboratory planning system.

  • Maintain and update laboratory planning on a daily basis.

  • Facilitate and organize follow-up validation meetings.

  • Coordinate daily project activities with involved resources and act as a communication bridge between teams to ensure project effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Create, measure, and report on laboratory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Coordinate tests performed in external laboratories or satellite sites.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of processes, tools, and work methods to improve project performance.

  • Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a combination of a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or planning within engineering product development.

  • Knowledge and implementation of "Stage-Gate" product development processes (Asset).

  • PMP Project Management Certification (Asset).

  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project or equivalent).

  • Demonstrated communication skills and strong meeting facilitation skills.

  • Ability to influence
    , manage, and mobilize teams.

  • Strong sense of rigor
    , proactivity, and autonomy.

  • Bilingualism (French and English).
