Replacement Bank – On Call
Daycare Educator in School Setting

• Plan, prepare, and conduct a variety of activities aligned with the educational project to foster the overall development of preschool and elementary students.
• Organize and participate in indoor and outdoor sports, cultural, leisure, and recreational activities.
• Support students with dressing, undressing, meal preparation, and snack times, ensuring health and safety protocols.
• Maintain student attendance records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure the supervision and safety of students, administer first‑aid, and follow medication protocols in accordance with school policy and parent instructions.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student behavior, health, and general information.
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper upkeep of learning materials and equipment.
• Assist with individual education plans and collaborate with the day‑care service technician.
• Participate in information meetings, parent meetings, and staff meetings related to the day‑care service.
• Train new daycare educators and perform any other related duties as required.

• Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Day Care Services (or equivalent recognized by the competent authority).
• At least one year of relevant experience.

School Principal

• Written and oral proficiency in both official languages.
• Experience working with elementary students.
• Additional qualifications in childcare are an asset.

• Hold a current certificate (dated no more than three years) for a standard first‑aid course of minimum eight (8) hours.
• Hold a current certificate (dated no more than three years) for a refresher first‑aid course of minimum six (6) hours.
