Job Responsibilities
- Receiving, registering, and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Maintaining the company stockroom
- Scheduling large shipments and planning logistics
- Inspecting shipments for damage or defects
- Loading and unloading freight
- Verifying packages according to order and invoices
- Operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Keeping files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
- Inventory management
- Proficient in completing a Bill of Lading - manual
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Forklift certified
- Willing to work overtime and different shifts
- Must have at least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Integrity and leadership skills
- Exemplary customer care skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Detail-oriented and multitasking skill
Pay: 21.00/hr
