Technical Support Specialist III at VSE Aviation
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist III to provide customer service and desktop support to VSE employees worldwide. The role includes service desk escalation, hardware and software diagnosis, and training of support staff.
Base pay range$25.01/hr - $36.68/hr
Responsibilities- Manages service request calls via ticketing system, phone, remote access, and desk side visits.
- Diagnoses, configures, installs, and supports desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, peripherals, client-side applications, and operating systems.
- Assists the service desk supervisor in reviewing, assigning tickets, and overseeing progress to meet SLAs.
- Analyzes incident management data to identify patterns, research solutions, and develop recommendations.
- Tests work and involves customers in acceptance testing to verify system functionality.
- Adheres to change management processes and executes changes to enhance system functionality.
- Communicates technical information clearly via phone, in person, and in writing.
- Provides support for escalated calls from other Technical Support Specialists and IT staff.
- Provides training and mentoring to team members and across departments.
- Creates and maintains knowledge‑base articles and contributes to SOPs and training documents.
- Assists employees with AV conferencing activities, including setup, teardown, and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
