Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in Montebello, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a travel SLP or local clinician who’s passionate about communication, cognition, and swallowing therapy in a supportive rehab setting.
Position Overview:As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to help patients regain essential skills for independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and progress
Document treatments accurately and thoroughly in EMRs
Communicate and collaborate with OTs, PTs, nursing staff, and physicians
Requirements:ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Graduate of an accredited SLP program
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused care philosophy
