Parts & Warranty Clerk

Overview

Katzkin Leather, Inc. is seeking a Parts & Warranty Clerk to support our Customer Support & Order Processing team. This role is critical to ensuring warranty claims are processed accurately, parts are managed efficiently, and customers receive timely, professional support.

• Review, prepare, and submit warranty claims in compliance with company policies
• Track claim status and follow up with internal teams to resolve issues or denials
• Order, track, and manage warranty parts inventory to avoid service delays
• Maintain detailed, audit-ready records of claims, parts, and labor
• Communicate with customers, installers, and internal teams regarding warranty matters
• Answer warranty-related questions and clearly explain coverage, terms, and next steps
• Escalate service issues appropriately and support complaint resolution

• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of integrity and accountability

• Associate degree or 6 months–1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination)
• Comfortable with order processing systems, manufacturing software, and internet-based tools
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and apply common-sense judgment
