Director of Accounting – Hybrid | Montebello, CA

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounting to lead our accounting operations for a multi-entity organization in the healthcare sector. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a proven track record of managing accounting teams, and can ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to drive productivity and accountability.
• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP.
• Provide key documentation for audits, reviews, and tax engagements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in accounting (Skilled Nursing industry preferred).
• Experience working with multiple entities (20+).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Great Plains, Point Click Care, UKG, DSSI, or Net Suite is a plus.
• Compensation: $140K–$175K + potential bonus
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
