Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse-Same Day Surgery will provide direction to professional and non-professional clinical personnel in providing direct patient care.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* Associate degree in nursing

* Minimum of 1+ years' experience as an RN in a hospital or an ambulatory surgery center

* Active and current NJ State professional Registered Nurse license

* BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

* ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment)

* Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, and perform EKG (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)

* Position requires fluency in the English language to function in the job environment appropriately.
