Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
ResponsibilitiesThe Quality Coordinator will manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital s overall quality assurance program that includes ancillary, support and nursing departments to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements, decrease duplication, and ensure The Joint Commission compliance.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Current NJ State professional Registered Nurse license
- Required 1-2 years’ experience in quality improvement and/or utilization review and/or regulatory experience in an acute care setting
Preferred
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of acute care medical/surgical unit experience
- Experience with Epic and Midas
- CPHQ and/or CPPS certification
- Project Coordination / Project Management experience
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
