Description:
The candidate will work in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
The role requires the management of patients' telemetry needs.
Nurses are responsible for the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.
The position involves peripheral line care and management.
Nurses will provide nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management.
Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be utilized as needed.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support services such as physical therapy and respiratory services.
Additional support includes interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
Float requirements may be in place as needed.
Availability for weekend coverage is a requirement.
