• Potential for a full-time position, 30+ sessions a week after 90+ days

• Available to provide 10 minimum sessions per week in person and online.
• Available to work Mondays and Tuesdays (5-9 pm) and Fridays (anytime between 9 am-6 pm).
• You are seeking a part-time position in a private practice setting in Montclair, NJ.
• Must have experience providing individual therapy to adults and teens
• Must have experience providing couples therapy or marriage counseling
• Must have experience working with families
• You may have previous experience in private practice
• You are new to private practice and interested in gaining experience in this setting.
• You currently work another job that is NOT in a private practice setting.
• You currently work for an agency, education, healthcare, or a community organization, and want a side position.
• You are not currently working and looking for part-time work, with the potential to transition to full-time (30 sessions a week)

• We welcome applicants who are fully licensed or provisionally licensed in the state of NEW JERSEY.
• Applicants currently licensed in NJ, in addition to other states, may apply.

• Compensation: $115 per 60-minute session and $85 per 45-minute session

• ACTIVE NJ: LSW, LAC, CSW, LAMFT
• Compensation
  : $105 per 60-minute session and $75 per 45-minute session
• All therapists must have completed their required clinical hours for licensure.
• Licensing exams do not need to be completed or passed at the time of hire.
• Mountains Therapy does not provide supervision toward licensure.

• You must be able to reliably commute to the office in Montclair, NJ to provide in-person sessions

• Must have two years of clinical experience with teens, adults, couples, or families (preferred)
• Must be able to work in person in the Office on Mondays and Tuesdays (5-9 pm) and Fridays (anytime between 9 am-6 pm.
• In-person availability required for sessions at our Upper Montclair, NJ office
  , with some telehealth sessions available
• All therapists may not be credentialed or paneled with insurance companies while working at Mountains Therapy
• We are an out-of-network, private-pay group practice

• Part-time, fee-for-service with flexibility to grow your caseload over time
• Serve a varied caseload of teens (ages 13+), adults, couples, and families who are typically high-functioning and motivated
• Maintain availability in person at our Montclair, NJ office for at least 10 clinical hours per week, with some telehealth sessions as requested by clients.
• Provide 45-minute individual therapy sessions for children or teens and adults
• Provide 60-minute sessions for intakes, couples, and families
• Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to client's needs
• Provide identity-affirming, culturally responsive care to LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent clients
• Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation
• Complete all documentation within 48 hours via Simple Practice (EHR)
• Develop individualized treatment plans, diagnoses, and interventions (via Wiley Treatment Plan in Simple Practice)
• Participate in individual consultation as needed
• Respond promptly to client and team communication
• Stay current with best practices in psychotherapy
• Conduct a free 15-minute phone consultation with prospective clients (upon request)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office space that reflects Mountains Therapy’s standards of care and confidentiality
• Therapists must demonstrate the ability to retain at least 70% of clients (7+ sessions) to ensure consistent, effective treatment engagement and outcomes
