- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square‑foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting‑edge technology, and patient‑focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27‑bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients in a clinic‑based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
Responsibilities:The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients in a clinic‑based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
- Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
