Overview
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time with our Montclair, NJ school at Modern Music Academy
. We are looking for teachers who will instruct in person. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but consistency is appreciated by both students and school staff. Preferred availability is one or two days a week (6-12 hours). Lessons are typically scheduled from 2pm-8pm on Mon-Fri and 10am-3pm on Saturday.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in Music Education or Music Performance, or equivalent teaching and performing experience.
Must have experience working with children ages 5-10 years old. They will also demonstrate a love of teaching, working with students of all skill levels, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-34/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
